Pasadena, California (August 8, 2013) The IEEE International Frequency Control Symposium (IFCS) recognized Dr. Lute Maleki, CEO and President of OEwaves, with the C.B. Sawyer Award. Dr. Maleki was nominated for his outstanding leadership and entrepreneurship in the founding of OEwaves as well as his many other contributions to the frequency control community including the invention of the Opto-Electronic Oscillator (OEO), and his two decades of leadership while at the Jet Propulsion Lab (JPL). Dr. Maleki is one of only 45 recipients of this award since its inception on 1966.
