Quantum linewidth limitation of a laser stabilized with a nonlinear microcavity

OEwaves' Lute Maleki and JPL's Andrey Matsko recently had their latest research published in Optics Letters.

In the paper, they explore the quantum limit of a laser that is locked to an optical cavity and explore how this applies to monolithic microcavities.
